What does Today's DOD do?

Today's DOD tracks daily deals on the internet. Most of the deals we track are from what are known as 'one-a-day' websites which offer consumers one deal every 24 hours which are usually marked down much lower than normal prices. There are literally hundreds of 'one-a-day' sites on the internet, so it would be almost impossible to view all of the deals daily without the use of an aggregator like Today's DOD.

The other deal section of TodaysDOD is the Local Deals section, which tracks local deals often featuring local businesses. Users may choose one or multiples cities and view location specific daily deals near them.

Why don't I see items for all of the sites that are tracked?

Not every site will show up every day. Items posted on tracked sites for more than 30 hours will not be shown. Other times, our tracker will mess up and the tracked site will be taken down until our tracker is fixed.

Who should I contact about an order that I placed?

Please contact the customer service department for the store where you bought the item from. When available, we provide customer service information for each site in the site's profile page.

Please do not contact us regarding problems with past orders or refunds as there is little that we can do. We do encourage everyone to write site reviews whenever purchasing items from daily deal sites. We will (and have in the past) take down sites from our tracker that get a lot of negative reviews.

So how does this work?

All deals are easily accessible by clicking on the "Today's Deals" menu link at the top of the page. From there you will see customize and sort settings as well as boxes that display each item currently for sale. Just click on an image or item name to head over to the site to purchase the item.

How do the boxes work?

1) Site Name - The name of the website that the deal was tracked from. Click on the name to see the site's profile page which includes ratings, reviews, and other site info.

2) Popularity - The farther to the right the green bar is, the more popular the deal is. This is based upon the deal age and the number of clicks.

3) Picture - The picture of the item being sold.

4) Price / Shipping - The price and shipping price of the current item. If no shipping amount is given, then the shipping charges vary based upon location.

5) Item Name - The name of the item being sold. Sometimes there will be red text below the item name which will contain special information for that specific deal.

6) Comments / Time Info - The number of comments that have been made on the item's details page. The age is the time since Today's DOD first tracked the deal. Time left is Today's DOD's best guess as to when the next deal will be posted. Please note that time left is not always 100% accurate.

7) Compare / Detail / Go - Compare will take you to your custom chosen compare website (Amazon by default). Detail will take you to the item's details page where you can see extra details about the item for sale, make comments, and view a higher resolution picture. The Go button will take you directly to the website of the item for sale.
