Frequently Asked Questions

What does Today's DOD do?

Today's DOD tracks daily deals on the internet. Most of the deals we track are from what are known as 'one-a-day' websites which offer consumers one deal every 24 hours which are usually marked down much lower than normal prices. There are literally hundreds of 'one-a-day' sites on the internet, so it would be almost impossible to view all of the deals daily without the use of a tracker like Today's DOD.

Why don't I see all of the sites that are tracked?

Not every site will show up every day. Items posted on tracked sites for more than 30 hours will not be shown. Othertimes, our tracker will mess up and the tracked site will be taken down until our tracker is fixed.

What about all these crazy boxes?

1) Site Name - The name of the website that the deal was tracked from. The background color is blue by default, however if the deal is very popular or we decide that it is a really good deal, it will have a red background

2) Popularity - The farther to the right the green bar is, the more popular the deal is. This is based upon the deal age and the number of clicks

3) Rating / Profile / Compare - Rating is the site's overall popularity. You can view the past items, ratings, and reviews for any website by clicking on the 'Profile' link. By clicking 'Compare', you can compare prices of the item being sold with other sites on the internet.

4) Price / Shipping - The price and shipping price of the current item. If no shipping amount is given, then the shipping charges vary based upon location

5) Age / Time Left - The age is the time since Today's DOD first tracked the deal. Time left is Today's DOD's best guess as to when the next deal will be posted. Please note that time left is not always 100% accurate

6) Picture - The picture of the item being sold

7) Item Name - The name of the item being sold. Sometimes there will be red text below the item name which will contain special information for that specific deal
